Watershed Management Group: Water-Harvesting Lectures Open to the Public, March 2011 – Phoenix AZ

Learn about design and installation of water harvesting systems including cisterns, greywater systems, and land-contouring earthworks.
Watershed Management Group is opening several lectures from their Phoenix Spring 2011 Water Harvesting Certification Program to the public. The Rio Salado Audubon Center will host five public lectures this March. Each lecture is presented by an expert in the field and offers a unique way to deepen your knowledge in various practices of water harvesting, landscape design, and backyard food production.
Lectures cost $25 each, and pre-registration is required. In order to pre-register:
- Please make your online payment or send a check to WMG
- Include the name of the lecture(s) you are registering for
- Include the number of people attending.
Payments for lectures must be made prior to March 15.
The lectures will be held at the Rio Salado Audubon Center, 3131 S. Central Ave., Phoenix.

- Friday 3/18: Water Harvesting Earthworks with Catlow Shipek, 10:30am-12:30 pm
- Sunday 3/20: Plastic and Steel Cisterns with Catlow Shipek, 8:00am-10:00 am
- Sunday 3/20: Landscape Design for Water Harvesting with James DeRoussel, 10:00am-12pm
- Wednesday 3/23: Greywater Systems with Brad Lancaster, 1:30pm-3:30pm
- Thursday 3/24: Water Harvesting for Food Production with Brad Lancaster, 2:30pm-4:30pm
