Connect Past to Future in Historic Vail!
This community event is an opportunity to engage with the living history of the unique town of Vail, Arizona. Participants can choose from a variety of activities ranging from making adobe bricks, learning passive & active water-harvesting and pollinator-friendly landscaping techniques from Brad Lancaster, playing the historic game of cornhole, attending historic-preservation presentations, learning about historic-preservation trades, to touring the 1908 Old Vail Post Office and the 1935 Shrine of Santa Rita in the Desert.
There will also be an Artist & Artisan Sale and a Plant Sale going on for the duration of the morning’s events.

Note: In addition to teaching about water harvesting, Brad will likely be part of the tours of the Santa Rita Shrine’s still-functioning water-harvesting system from the 1930s!
