Description: Join Dunbar/Spring neighbors Brad Lancaster, Omar Ore-Giron, and other Neighborhood Foresters for demonstrations & training on the work we’ll do. Then help your neighbors—and get to know more of them!—as we plant rain, mulch, and trees within water-harvesting basins in the public rights-of-way along our streets.

** Sign up for Omar’s Water-Harvesting Basin-Creation Service:
Neighbor and landscaper Omar Ore-Giron is offering a water-harvesting-basin-digging service before the tree planting for just $30 per basin. This is an amazing deal! Trees planted with such basins grow to be healthier and larger, and have faster growth rates than those without such basins. Using his CanDig machine, Omar will create water-harvesting tree basins deep enough to harvest street runoff. (We’ll offer a curb-coring service the week after planting, to cut core holes in the curb, enabling to the street runoff to flow into the basins.)
